Consultation from our team
You don’t know what to do next. You just want some advice about what’s actually feasible and the steps you need to take. Get in touch with us and we’ll help you to structure your startup plan. Support from mentors
n addition to financial support, we offer a platform for exchange which extends far beyond the Neckar-Alb region in south-western Germany. We offer contacts with mentors, experienced entrepreneurs and investors who would be delighted to speak with you about your business plan, use their experience to assist you and maybe help you to make a decision or two.
Application support
We will also help you to make funding applications, whether through the EXIST, Junge Innovatoren(“Young Innovators”) or Mensch-Technik-Interaktion(“Human-Technology Interaction”) support programmes
Financial consultancy
So you’ve got your idea – but you don’t have any money in the bank? Kreissparkasse Reutlingen offers free financial consultancy for your business plan, among other areas, and supports you with its expertise in financial matters.
Legal/tax/patent consultancy
Do you have specific questions about your terms and conditions, envisaged brand or the legal cover you require? We offer contacts with IT lawyers, patent advisers and tax consultants who can provide a free-of-charge initial consultation and support you with all of the legal matters involved in business startups.
Workplaces
We offer workplaces in our containers free of charge. In exchange for a small deposit of €50, you can have 24/7 access to a space with your own small kitchenette.
First Step Reutlingen Startup Loan
First Step Reutlingen is a pilot project under the State of Baden-Württemberg’s Start-up Initiative II (launch of service-based ventures from universities—spin-offs). At the heart of the project is the idea of providing support to university-based entrepreneurs in the amount of the Bafög grant for up to 12 months (start-up loan). In addition, an infrastructure has been established on campus that founders can use as needed—typically for up to one year—on favorable terms (office containers, startup support, and financing).

Reutlingen University is an AWS partner, which means that you can receive an AWS Starter Pack free of charge through us.
Matching
No, we don’t offer any IT specialists who will develop your app free of charge. However, we can help you with your search for IT support and networking. Our most useful resources in this area are our elective modules, seminars and events, which include “Start-up Night” and talks by entrepreneurs. After all, any old IT specialist won’t do, they have to be the right fit.
